Internship Overview
Machinist is a person who is responsible for operating machining tools to produce precision metal and plastic parts that meet precise specification, by setting up and operating of a wide variety of machine tool equipment.
Responsibilities
Achieve target as demand
To set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
To monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
To study sample parts, blueprints, drawings and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
To operate equipment to verify operational efficiency.
To handle other tasks and duties as and when requested by superior.
Requirements
Operate manual lathe machine and manual milling machine
Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements.
Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail. Outstanding mathematical skills and analytical abilities.
